Annex, Annex, Annex - Annexing all Foreign Territories is a tough task. You'll need to conserve QP for the Alliance quests that are required to fully annex them. This isn't about spending the bare minimum 90 RP it would cost to unlock each nation. No, no. You must go through the paces and complete the quest for it to count. Learn more about Annexing
Annex Advorton - This Tip applies to every Kingdom Ambition in The Sims Medieval. It will give you many more QP to play with if you do this as soon as you hit 160 Renown. You'll need a Spy, Wizard, or Physician at level 5 and the Monarch to do the required quest. It will reduce the QP cost of all Quests costing 3 or 4 by 1. Don't let the extra QP bother you. Once you've reached platinum in an Ambition you can repeatedly start then cancel quests to drain your QP. Do this by heading to the Kingdom Screen's Quest tab.
Maintain Relations from Time to Time - Get a Knight, Spy, or Monarch and send them on Patrols through the road by the village shoppe, the forest, and at sea. This will maintain your relationship once you've finished the Alliance Quest. Edicts are generally a poor way to maintain relations with another country as it usually makes someone else mad. It just won't do for you to go through all that trouble to lose an alliance from another country's relations with you bottoming out. It will take many patrols to do this, but those hero classes all gain XP from doing so and get valuable random event opportunities.
